Wayne's fuel dispenser payment security module was the first to receive Version 2.0 as well as 3.0 security standard certification by the worldwide Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council. As a result, Wayne customers can ensure compliance with the organizations' latest, most stringent payment terminal security regulations offering deployment years beyond devices certified to the previous Version 1.3 specifications.
The deadline for phasing out availability of Version 1.3 devices begins as early as April 2014 and 2.0 devices as early as April 2017.
